vRS DRL Condensation.....?

Featured Replies

My vRS suffers from condensation in the DRL's, the OS unit has already been replaced after a few weeks ownership & the "fault" has occured again.

Does anyone else suffer from this ...? or is it really an issue ? as I do not want to keep running back to the dealer if it is a normal commonplace occurance.

The misting clears after a few minutes & the lights are working fine.

Any thoughts/comments please.....?

I seem to remember from skimming through th manual that this is considered normal. I have some condensation forming in mine, but as you say, clears after a few minutes (presumably so but never actually got back out to check).

I mentioned this to the dealer, it's like a milky film on the inside of the DRL glass. Doesn't seem the clear either

Mine are the same. Assumed it was normal and I don't really want to replace them if it risks damaging the bumper in any way

Same here...Clears after a while

It has been a little damp recently ;)

Same here, pretty annoying when you want your car to look as good as possible.

Yes the only slight problem that I've noticed, but it does clear very quickly.

Have checked the manual, page 41, it says in cold or humid conditions there is likely to be condensation. Also says it will not affect the life of the light. Can also happen in rear cluster.

Replacing the drls wont damage the bumper in any way, already replaced one :-).

sent from the real deal

Get a tiny it in one of mine but after a journey it's gone ( presemu the heat dries it out). But it's not all the time. A bit random. Will mention it at first service.

Cheers Guys/Gals.
