Hi new to having a Skoda Octavia 4x4 mk1.

I have found the post regarding doing the haldex oil and filters and how to drain the rear diff, but having trouble locating the fill plug for the rear differential :( Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers Dan

Any reason your changing the diff oil? What oil are you using to refil?

Level plug iirc is on the side.

hi Tech1e reason for changing the oil, car has done 98k and oil probably never been changed. I have done the gearbox and the transfer box and have ordered the haldex filter tool just want to give the car some tlc looked on the side of the diff is it a large level plug? I am using 75-90 gear oil gl5 spec which is what is recommend

Yes it is the large plug.
