As title says what is an egr delete and what does it do?

Does it make a difference to the performance or the exhaust sound? I have a straight through pipe so who'll it give that 'turbo spool' sound?

Removes the EGR which can be problematic, get clogged up and choke the inlet. I've never noticed any performance difference or changes to exhaust sound. Just removing it means that the inlet won't get any further clogged and prevent any EGR problems though will throw up a fault code that will need to remapped out (only on ASV engines). Best to clean the inlet manifold at the same time and then you can have a clean inlet for life!
