Hi I have a y reg fabia and the key barrel gate is stuck open and it is the central locking version is there any way to fix it

I'd say try to clean/lub it by "washing/freeing" it up using something like WD40 - use the key to "exercise" the flap and all the other moving parts. After doing this, I'd reckon that the lock flap/gate should close. If not then its a new barrel ordered so that it is the same as the other locks in the car.
