dunno where to put this top get maximum replies so here will do!! lol

my poor ogy needs a new shoe!!! got a choice of a few so far but wondered which you lot would go for? The price of each is that they come to my house, take off old tyre, fit new tyre, balance the wheel and take away and dispose of old tyre.

1) Bridgestone ER300 - £110.77

2) Dunlop Sprtmaxx - £108.11

3) Kleber-Hydraxer - £98.85

4) Pirelli Pzero Nero - £98.80

5) Firestone SZ90 - £94.72

what is the old one? How much is left on the other tyre on the same axle?

Why does it need replacing?

I would personally get another Conti Lorn / What ever matches the other tyre on the other side.

Daft question but.... Why don't you go to a tyre fitters?

Will be cheaper most likely.

I just had 4 Kumho Ecsta Ku 39 , did allot of research prior to buying and very impressed with them! £62 a corner inc fitting for a 205/40/17, worth a look IMO!

Have a search on Yell or google, there bound to be more reputable independent companies in your area.

Lorna - I use Bells in Swindon/Old Town. They are sound guys and know what they are on about.

You can always phone up and check to see if they have a Conti in stock first before you turn up.Oh and don't even think about going to ATS in Marlborough or Kwik Fit in Devizes.

Get another of whatever is already on there..... mismatched tyres are NOT good

None of the above.

Uniroyal Rainsport 2 or Rainmaster/max.

Are you replacing just the one or as you should a pair?

replacing just the one. and whatever it is it has to be £100 or less fully fitted!

What have you got on the rest of the car?

Thing is, they are good but wear out really quickly, mine lasted about 7 months :(

Gonna get a pair of falken 452's next to match the rear that are still like new

I work for a company called Bathwick tyres not trying to sound big headed but 9 out of 10 times we are cheaper than most dealers as we are an independent dealer we stock most makes and sizes so give us a try
