Check out the good garage scheme or ask around on camp, there may be a car club which could advise.

If you need an mot try Halfords. i've just used them and it only cost £24.68.Plenty around.

The first place that springs to mind is pgs in petersfield, they are just off the Bedford road quite close to the town centre..

The other people he could try is Farnham tyre and exhaust centre, they are based in one of the old disused railway goods sheds literally right next door to the railway station.

other than that I can't think of many others, I don't often venture up that way.

PGS would be good for day to day stuff, I agree.
