trouble on mk 1 vrs clutch . slips now and again . any ideas on prices for parts and amount of time to do the work . thanks

You can get a sachs VR6 clutch kit and G60 flywheel for £235 on ebay(good upgrade from DMF) labour will be 4hrs at around £45hr+VAT

is a upgrade needed when changing a clutch . got 60 thou out of last 1 . i would be happy to get the same again . the car is standard bhp . thanks

I think the sachs ones get about the best rating(at least OEM quality), the upgrade is the flywheel, single mass so less to go wrong. They sell the clutches on there own for £170 but most change the flywheel to G60 while the box is off.

been offered replacement of all bits and converted to normal clutch for £280 quid all in
