Was browing Google when I found this:

and found that Eibach does a lowering and widening set:

Looks great but won't do the off roading abilities any good.

I'm just wondering how many Yeti owners actually go off road on a regular basis?

Every day. I live in a converted barn accessed by a farm track.

I dont ever intend to, however after visiting my Mum last month in the Glasgow area, the state of the roads made me feel like I was off roading!

I had my winter wheels on ( 16 inch ) and I now understand why The Plumber and others dont like the 17 inch standard wheels!

The picture shot from an angle in particular makes it looks like a roomster :-)

I think Merlinman has Eibach lowered suspension on his Yeti.

I do not like the colour coded bumpers & under panels. It completely changes the look of the car.

I agree with domhnall, it looks very Roomster like.

Yes, the Eibach Pro Kit - car is about 20mm lower (i.e. not as low as cars pictured) big improvement in ride and handling

Can't see that compromising the limited off roading I'll do (<1%) - if I wanted a serious off-roader I wouldn't have bought a Yeti would I?

I have the RRP just in case I catch the underside on a pebble.

Regularly.

We even organise trips:

PS.

I think it looks horrible!!

Those all look like you were still on road graham. Off road to me means there is no road surface of any kind. I've had my 2wd octavias up and down tracks like that on mod land for years but have nver thought of it as off roading. Or am I wrong?

We did the gravel track (BOAT) that runs from the Claerwen Dam in the Elan Valley, to the head of the lake, and then back again.

You can follow it on Streetview!

It is a very good introduction for people who have not driven far off-road in the past as there are a few spots along it you can do some "instructing" plus it is very picturesque.

Off-road is generally taken as meaning off tarmac, so any gravel track would be treated as off-road. Over 60% of all BOATS are probably just that. Certainly on Salisbury Plain the majority are solid gravel under the mud.

I really don't like it, it makes the car look more like all the other boxes out there that look the same.

As for offroading... that's why my wife has a 2WD and I'm getting a 4x4.

Skoda are nice enough to give you the option.
