Don't often drive the octy, but have recently.

SWMBO says she hasn't noticed, but the locks seem slow when locking compared to the Sharan, and the xenons seem to be slightly blue. Car is 5 in April.

Am I being paranoid or does this suggest an issue like battery?

I don't know about the locks but the xenon's have their own power supply which I would guess would be regulated so wouldn't really depend on the battery at all. I would also assume you would have noticed had the xenon's changed colour or the door locks operated faster when the engine was running?

they were much whiter being 4300k factory fit. They look more like 6k HIDs.

As xenon's age they do go a bit bluer before goinmg reddish pink
