Front bushes gone again.

Featured Replies

Hello, new to the forum, love the Roomster 07 ,19 TDi, but the front bushes have gone again, I can hear the rattle the same as before. I had them replaced at my local garage who I trust on about 45K. But the mechanic said they would of just been the cheepest bushes available the last time when they were fitted. So after reading some older threads I see the Cupra bushes are much better. Upto 70K now, I am planning on keeping the car to the death. My question is what is the exact model number and part called and were can I get them. As when I search there are lots of different types.

Cheers Geordie.

Roomster is based on the Fabia so it has the same problems.....don't fit the Cupra ones........see my full tech post on bushes here.......

My mechanic fitted bushes from an Audi. I have no idea of the part number but he reckoned they were much better quality. If anyone needs details, he might recall which ones.
