hi, hope someone out there may be able to help.my 06 plate vrs mk2 is randomly making electronic clicking noises from behind the dashboard,it doesnt seem to effect anything but the noise is beginning to irritate to the point the volume button on the radio is turned up to drowned it out. any answers, cheers.

Sounds like clicking relays?

Climate control.

A software update helps apparently. My 07 did it, then less so following a dealer service. Still does on occasion but not overly annoying now.

thanks, ill get it looked at next service, just wondered if it were owt more sinister.

If its the Climate control then you could do a soft reset as follows: press and hold the Econ button and the bottom left of the rectangular direction buttons together for a few seconds

This should reset the climate system and recalibrate all of the flaps.

hi, this may sound daft but do you mean the rectangular direction button with the 2 triangles on it..
