For Sale a 1985 B reg Estelle in Maroon. I purchased it last year with the intention of repairing it and getting it back on the road but redundancy and the need to get my every day car repaired means I need to sell it.

It is very solid front, drivers side and rear, but needs a new sill on the passenger side, a new wing as it has a rust hole and work to the rear wheel arch on the passenger side. The engine block is in the car, but the head is under the bonnet as it needs new valves. The engine block is bolted to the gearbox but not connected as the input shaft is currently under the bonnet as it needs a new oil seal. As far as I know the engine block and gearbox are O.K. The interior is very good for it's age and is all present. The only other problem that I am aware of is the bonnet release catch is broken but the cable can still be pulled to open it.

It would be sad to see it scrapped as it could be a really nice little car and 4 speed 120 cars are now becoming very rare. When I purchased it it had no V5 but I paid DVLA for one and it is now registered to me and is sorn.

I am looking for about £200 (which will enable me to buy the parts that I need to put my main car right) and is less than the car owes me.

The car has been left with the handbrake off so it rolls easily and the brakes still function well, so it can easily be wheeled onto a trailer or transporter.

I know our local breakers have no interest in Estelles and will not even take any parts off it - they will simply crush it. However if I cannot sell it before the end of the month it will have to go to scrap which seems a real shame.
