Installed Reverse sensors - now got bulb warning light

Featured Replies

I installed my reverse sensors today, all was fine, beeping fine. But now i got a bulb warning light up. I know the circuit resistance would have changed but would it have caused a warning light to come up?

My only other idea is that it could be the earth connection. I noticed one of the bulbs was borderline blown but the warning light has only come on since i been tinkering lol.

any help appreciated.

Cheers

Dan

The bulb failure circuit works on line resistance,so of you have tapped into a circuit you will have to fit a blocking diode capable of supplying the current required for the additional components.

Oooooo sounds technical lol.

I just went for a drive, the light came on, but 5 mins later the light has now disappeared, used the sensors for parking and light stayed off. Turned car off and back on again and the light hasnt come back on.

Dunno whether the control system has adjusted to the new level of resistance? no idea lol

I guess u disconnected the rear light when wiring them in this puts the light on
