EGR delete

Featured Replies

Is the EGR delete just a pipe, or does it come with other parts?

The reason I ask is I have seen a website selling the pipes only. 1 item with no other parts or accessories.

Will VAGcom lett me disable the EGR once the pipe is installed? If so...is there a guide anywhere?

Thanks! :)

You'll need a blanking plate on the exhaust manifold too.

I don't think you can turn the EGR off completely using Vagcom - only turned down. Has to be mapped out (only ASV engines too).

It can only be turned off in the map. You'll also need the DTC code turning off.

I have an Allard EGR delete pipe on my BLT , they offer 3 versions of the kit. My engine light is on so I'll plug in my EGR valve for MOT time, Forge also sell an EGR delete pipe, it's meant for the ASZ engine but I've had no problems with mine. The pipe's easy to fit and there's a blanking plate for the exhaust manifold, you can also connect a pipe to it for a boost gauge.
