Why dont you consider Revo, or Awesome-gti (they do dual system remaps for similar price)

Or the AMD one-click, and they can post it out to you, its uploaded via your OBDII port so no need for dodgy removal of your ecu

Don't touch it with someones borrowed 10ft bargepole !

this is a revo techniq remap, just that i cant get to cambridge any time soon, and this is an easy option

If its revo... why do you need to get it to cambridge?

theres revo dealers all over the country, i had mine done @ JBS in chesterfield :)

it,s a good price

I would be VERY weary then.

Revo dealers are not allowed to give discounts on the software...

I say wait until you have the time to visit a tuning outfit in person with your car. :)

i wouldnt post off my ecu... not cos i didnt trust the tuner .....but cos i dont trust the p.o.

Yep , when they lose it , how long will it take to get your car back on the road?

Dont do it mate, get a REVO remap, or AmD or a Jabba custom remap or (shoot me) a digital tuning box from Ebay.

Hellfire... shooting.gif:D

If I remember correctly, Superchips used to (and may still) remap your ecu if you post it to them. It's not unusual. But it is risky - I wouldn't trust my ECU to the PO either, and for mail order, I'd rather buy the one click and have the option of either standard or modified map as the mood takes me, changeable whenever I like in a couple of minutes, for roughly the same money...

I wouldn't Post my ECU to anyone.

How would you explain to your local dealer , that you had NO ecu in the car if the snail mail lost it :) And how much to replace ?

Lets play Guess the price of a replacement ECU from Skoda for a Furby vRS ?

Amazing how those guesses appear so accurate ;) - got experience buying new ones guys

I seem to remember that the AMD OneClick doesn't require you to come in anyway, the standard one, that is, so you may be able to get them to send it to you.

Annoyingly I won't be able to do anything remap wise for a while :(
