Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I'm a new member! Have just bough my 05 plate yellow vrs, and have been searching on the forum and hybrid has come up a lot but I don't actually know what it means, can anyone help me out?

It's referring to the turbo. A hybrid turbo is uprated to take more power than a stock one, often using parts from other turbo's.

A stock PD150 will run 190bhp safely, while some hybrid's of the same size can run 240-260 safely.
