We've recently become owners of a red 2004 Fabia vRS after my beloved s2000 came to an untimely end :(

We'd been considering one as a second car for my other half for some time as it ticks all the boxes in terms of economy and relative speed

I've only driven it once and it's definitely lived up to expectations.

The engine pulls nicely although it's a completely different proposition to the S2000 (almost polar opposites really).

The main difference though is the economy.

On a 180 mile trip I averaged 63mpg whereas the S struggled to make 30mpg.

I have yet to test the handling but overall it's a good car.

It will be getting a full detail in the coming weeks as the rear spoiler has started to oxidise a little and it's full of swirl marks.

My s2000 was quite heavily modified and I can't help but tinker so i'll be looking at a remap first...
