Bought a vRS :)

Featured Replies

Hi Guys and Girls, I've bought a vRS, 2006 in Black, its supposed to have had a bump and is CatD but have not found any evidence of major damage (yet), only things wrong with it are,

Airbag / Engine light on - local garage says fault codes for airbag module and egr valve / crankshaft sensor.

Passenger headlamp wobbling about.

Washer bottle leaking.

Small scrape on front numberplate surround and foglight surround.

Nail in n/s rear tyre.

Interior Filthy.

Radio reception poor.

Have not had a chance to get underneath it yet but hopefully today. Feels very fast and more than I was expecting, I used to own a 150hp peugeot and this is in a completely different league, 3rd/4th gear is incredible. So unsure if its actually standard or if its had something done, it looks standard externally and a quick look under the bonnet.

Reg is AO06GMV / used to be on H5LBH according to HPI check.

Previous owner was in Shoeburyness and then in Manchester after it had been repaired.

Welcome to the forum!

Your car looks nice, I'm guessing it's had a front end bump from the minor issues you have described.
