Skoda Superb and not just Superb, Superb Edition 100 1.9 130 Auto B):D

After months of lurking on BriSkoda forum, trying to learn the ropes of what is what and what is not, what to look for, what to touch and

what to ask,and most importanttly when to say No Thanks, it is not for me, my time has finaly come.

Amount of lemons, brused and battered neglected Skoda Superbs with water ingres, cat C write off, water in front lights, etc etc , I got

Mint for the age as mint can be, Everything is working /55 plate / 78000 mil /cambelt changed TWICE / more paperwork than old style

Yellow Pages / aftermarket Kenwood DNX7260BT with DVB /Skoda leather wallet with Skoda brushed metal pen in it..........

I was lucky that owner is/was a extremly knowlegable, patient and polite ( BriSkodian ofcourse  ) whom most probably I force in

to sale by choking him with the sheer amount of questions I asked :giggle: OK thanks for all of your reply, suport and whatnot, and now

Thanks for the nice replys

P.S. I sat in Skoda last night, just watching all of the internal lights and idling engine for 15 min. ;)

is this normal n00by behaviour :'(

Looks good! Actually it looks exactly like mine!

Since we have exactly the same car, can you let me know what kind of MPG are you getting? I am getting a pathetic MPG just shy of 30. I mainly do city and a bit of A roads...

Also, how do you like the Kenwood? Does it integrate with the steering wheel controls? What about the maxidot?

Do yourself a favour, don't break the gear knob.

Changed one the other week, £250 for a sodding knob...lol

question time :giggle: picture of the rear the footrest things are they part of the mat or are they seperate to the mat?

if there seperate to the mat any chance of more pictures of how there constructed

You messing with knobs again?

I had to change my knob... After the button went floppy :'(

Re the price... it's worth shopping about. I was quoted between £150 and £220 ish for the one on my Elegance (wallnut finish)!

Always, anything to earn a few quid.

Sorry for shameful plug, an Edition 100 is coming up for sale in Feb, see cars for sale. They are lovely big cars but need care and attentive ownership. I'd like to think mine isn't a pup either!!

Did you have your heated seat on too while sitting in it for quarter of an hour, to make you feel like you'd peed your pants??

They are loose, separate from the main mat, with some velcro "teeth" strips to help them not slide about on the mat surface. (kind of works-ish) They aren't really heavy enough though - feel like some foam wrapped in carpet.

They have curved edges front (to make more room for your feet if you don't have them up on the mat) and back (to fit snuggly up against the heater vent).

You looking to buy / make some?

My button is slightly temperamental - as I use it (squeeze from the front) it works fine, but if you catch it from the back / top it doesn't feel great, and wobbles slightly.

I wonder if any of the audi / vw knobs fit and might be more serviceable? Seems like a weakness in the moulding which will only repeat with time.

Always, anything to earn a few quid.

Would buy if I could find some but will probably end up making something.

Make sure you give the auto box 6 litres of fresh oil and a new filter too. Not a DIY job. Due at that mileage and often neglected. Nice car though

Glad you like it.

It was a pleasure to sell it to you.

I can't remember, but do check the receipts in the pack I gave you, but the gearbox oil might have been done.

Happy motoring.
