Belgian Felicia owner

Hello,

I’m new here, so let me introduce myself. My name is Dave, I’m 25 years old and I live in Belgium. I own a 1998 Skoda Felicia 1.9 LXD. It was my mother’s car before, but when I turned 18, it became my first car. It has been a very solid car, very few repairs had to be done. It now has about 155.000 miles (250.000 km). I begin to notice that he had it’s best time. There are quiet a number of smaller problems that appear. And especially corrosion becomes a major problem. We have an annual technical inspection in Belgium, and I think that the inspection team will not allow me to drive it for another year.

But until then, I enjoy my Felicia every day, I really love to drive in it.

Since there is no Belgian Skoda forum, I’m also an active member of the Skoda forum in The Netherlands. Unfortunately, the Felicia is not discussed very often any more. It’s a big contrast with this forum.

Sorry for mistakes in my writing, my mother tongue is Dutch.

*there are pictures in my profile, did not succeed to post them*

Hello Dave and welcome along

Don't worry, your English is miles better than my Dutch.

Hi and welcome aboard.
