Well, there's probably not that many of you who remember me... but for those who do, I'm back!

After five years away, and paying off all of my mountainous debts, I decided it was time to treat myself. As of yesterday, I'm now the proud owner of another Mk1 Octy vRS, and very lovely she is too.

I have plans for this one... some more performance is on the cards since I don't have to worry about ruining an original vRS WRC any more...

Thanks for the welcomes... I'm working my way through the list of niggles with the new Octy right now.

Sorted the annoyingness of the recirc flap being stuck in the closed position. Need to replace the V71 motor at some point, when I do I'll document the process with a how-to as there's not many decent pictures around.

Fixed the rear washer thanks to the stupid connector in the rear nearside quarter.

New 710N recirculating diverter valve ordered, just needs fitting.

Next up is to replace the microswitches on the two front-door locks... I might how-to that as well actually. Got the switches, just need fitting now.

Then finally, cruise control retrofit.

Then maybe a few minor performance enhancements.
