is this possible

I can't see why this would not work....

I have heated seats in my 2001 Octavia came as standard, so I cant see any reason why if you bought the full kit why it could not be retro fitted!! plus its soooooooooooooooooooo nice on you backside and back!!

yes its possible, but why spend all of that on the standard vrs seats which are slightly lacking for want of a better way of putting it. Its quite a delicate job too to get right,as the covers are very tight.

An easier, better idea would be to sell your seats, clean them up, you should get a couple of hundred, then take the £285 for that kit, and get something like these My link, they are way nicer as a seat, nicest vag seat out there imo, and are much more comfy than the gti recaros, and the r32 seats and come already fitted with seat heating, they fit in as a straight swap and then fit the looms (easy to do too), its a much more simple job than retrofitting all the elements to your seats, and you end up with some awesome seats in your car

I agree with Oet there's no point in spending that amount of cash on them £30 or £40 yeh but

above that no way lol

It shouldn't be that hard to track down a decent set from a mk 4 based car

It takes a mile or two to feel the benefit of the heated seats, by that time the heater is warming and your body is warming the seats for free.

Chocolate teapot like the centre armrest IMO

Now a heated windscreen, that would be a benefit at the moment.

They always made me want to go for a crap in my old Volvo... :giggle:
