Having stumped dealer with a rattle from rear N/S door when radio on I have found it to be the door handle on outside when I was walking around car and radio was still on. Seems to be an easy fix only had to place a finger on it to stop sound. Hope that this can be of help to someone else I never thought to check it nor did the dealers who simply put bass and treble settings to zero.......... then said its still there but not as much.......

It would be good to have a sticky on Rattles and Squeaks . . . they drive one potty when they occur and take ages to find. A quick checklist would work wonders.

Yea would be handy my new but common obvious one is the parking ticket holder

have not yet was too busy but there appears to be some thin bits of foam there to stop it rattling so will have a go at weekend. I opened and closed door as tbh until last week never had a passenger in the back.

Yes good idea. Look forward to reading all about causes of rattles and squeaks and of course the remedies.

By the way, during this week's very cold weather the squeaks from glove box area stopped but the rattles from the rear intensified.
