Hi, not sure if anyone has had the problem of foul smelling washer bottles. We have two Skodas and both don't smell great when used!

To be fair it's a problem not confined to Skodas.

Just wondered if anyone has a fix for this or any advice on additives that don't in time cause a pong. Cheers, Rob.

If you discount me I haven't got a dishwasher & ideally hadn't bagained on

removing the unit in each case.

Hi, That sounds like a good idea but do you need to purge the bleach solution back out as

Rob, they release quite easily (couple of screws and remove the pump), so you could take it out and do it in the kitchen sink (do both at the same time?). Then rinse thoroughly when done, before re-fitting.

I have a spare bottle, don't remember it smelling, if you're going to the meet-up on the 4th at Maidstone.

I also really need to get the header tank off and clean it out it is filthy... but that would mean doing a coolant change and I really can't be ar*ed this time of year!
