Been lurking here for a few months now but today my new car arrived. It's a Combi 2.0CR TDI 170 Elegance with DSG in Steel Grey.

I've opted back into our company car scheme having had an allowance for many years and I'm coming to Skoda from SEAT ownership - Leon MkI Cupra R, Leon MkII FR and most recently an Exeo(also 170PS diesel).

I ordered the car at the end of September and it was due to arrive 6th January but there were a couple of delays (factory shutdown cited as the main one!). Options selected were electric tailgate (love it), park assist (not tried it yet), MDI, paddleshift wheel, auto dimming mirror, sunset glass, a tow-bar (with tow-bar prep) and heated washer nozzles.

So far all seems good apart from I had some trouble connecting my Blackberry but it seems to work now. When I had the demonstrator it was hit and miss whether it connected so we'll wait and see how reliable it is.

I'm sure I'll have a few questions over the next few weeks.
