My 06 Fabia VRS has been written off, all my fault. My driving style ,old, let me down despite new ice/snow tyres.I slowed down to approach a bend on a country road by breaking and short shifting from 6th to 4th. The front wheels locked and I started sailing to wards the bend,I pressed the clutch and break together but, with neither wheel turning the ABS didn't cut in.On reaching the corner at about 40 I rode up a grass bank and things just got surreal. I got out of the car, which was upside down, without a scratch.Qoutemehappy.com have settled for £6500, good result I think.

Time for something more sedate, best car I've owned though.
