New alloys didn't last long.

Featured Replies

Managed to scrape one already.

Admittedly its nothing dramatic - I was just parking by the road outside my office and managed to put a really slow 4" rub in the lip of the nearside front wheel whilst manouvering at about 0.25 mph. :thumbdwn: I've given it a good rub down with wet & dry which has somewhat "lightened" the area affected on the lip...

I don't see why I can't keep a set of alloys in "as new" condition for longer than about 2 months. :( I've been taking real care when going up high kerbs too (good old "nudge gently and use torque" to just lever car up)

Apparently one of the guys in the convoy to the B'B' night is good with touching up alloys so might see what he can do for me. Still. bloody :thumbdwn: for me.

[Note to self: stop being so melodramatic, Jason!]
