Lynz has said that she would like her car to have a better "Sound"

So, i have about £500 to play with, so you best idea's for a Mk1 Octavia est would be welcome.

Don't mind a new head unit, must have a aux in jack for mp3 player.

Also being an Est, it get used for runs to the tip etc with seats folded, so i don't want to keep unpluging speakers/ amps.

So what do you guys suggest, oh, i will have to get it fitted as opposed to diy :dull:

recommend a four master dealers http://www.fourcars.co.uk/

they had a special package around your budget for speakers, amp and a sub, etc. but i don't know how long the promotion lasted.

edit: here's some info about the package http://fourcarsblog.co.uk/

Thanks for the links, don't really want subs if i can help or amps in the boot, as it still needs to retain it's est. car practicality's.

The Pioneer TSE170Ci always seem to be recommended on here, which i'm planning on installing in mine. I've got an Alpine ipod headunit and i like them, even the standard speakers sound better. We've got the Sony head units at work and they're roughly half the price of my alpine and they sound ok and have usb & aux.

The advice i had been given was upgrade the headunit and front speakers and soundproof the front doors. I'd try that before adding an amp
