Hi all. Firstly what a great forum.

I picked a mint condition (inside and out) 51,000 miles 2003 Octavia vRS Estate from Cheltenham on Saturday. It came with full service history, new MOT and had the timing belt done at 40,000. I got it for £3,000 and hopefully it will turn out to be a very good buy.

I drove it back to Cornwall and it instantly put a smile on my face, and having only really driven 1.4's for the majority of my 17 years of driving the performance blew me away.

As it's my first quick car I am very much looking forward to doing a few mods etc on her, and this forum looks like it will keep me busy for many hours finding out what stuff I can do :-)
