leaky door

Featured Replies

Will skoda fix a leaky door seal even if its out of warranty (a 2001 1.4 16v comfort with 63000 miles)

They won't fix it under warrenty on newer cars let alone an 01 one. However it isn't a hard job an there's lots of guides on here under the important threads :)

I've got a 55plate Fab VRS on warranty. Had the same issue and unfortunately they wouldn't cover it so payed £104 instead to have both rear doors done.

I know people say it's easy to sort out but i got the local dealer to do it as i don't trust myself...

What!!!!???

All it takes is some £5 sealant....

Yeah i know, talk about being stupid :/ did go dealer so thats reason, i've seen some people on here that have payed more, car was in garage anyways having CV gaitor done so thought might as well get this booked as well...

This shows how inconsistent skoda are! I had my first one fixed by skoda main dealer in Bridgnorth and they charged £36 (half an hour labour) £100+ is day light robbery!!!!
