Nope.

Is that a generic "Nope" or have you actually used one on a SDI?

I can't see the instructions. Where does it plug into? Fuel temp sensor?

Well, for a start there's no boost to turn up on an SDI... and you'll get very little from increasing the fuelling (other than smoke :giggle: )

Depends on the AFR. A pd130 is around 19:1 so plenty of room for more fuel. :)

Are these any good on an SDI?

Different cars...

Just a little. I've never logged an SDI but if like TDI's they run learn then increased fueling will help.

It's a lot easier on the TDI as you can up the boost and up the fuelling - remember combustion is a combination of air and fuel, so adding more fuel without more air may not make any gains!

The crux of what I'm trying to say is... don't bother tuning an SDI :) If you want more power, it would be much better to sell it and get a TDI instead

Lol yeah agree TDI much better :)

However your wrong on the power :) stock AFR is very lean, think its to do with emmisions. This means you have plenty of room for more fuel so no boost increase is needed.

Years back I had a DMS remap. Logging showed no increase in boost only fuel. This gave 160bhp/300lbfts on awesomes roller. Stock it made 135bhp/240lbft on the same rollers.

I've tweaked a few maps on mine now which only alters fueling and it does give more power. Now I'm playing with increasing the boost to see how much extra air I can get.

So assuming SDI have similar AFR then their room for more fuel.
