will this fit?

Featured Replies

hi,

I have a 2011 monte carlo and I want to put some 8.0x18 et35 inches wheels with 215/35/18 tyres on it.

I have bought vogtland coilovers (adjustable height and hardness).

I know that the ride and comfort will be harsh...but i want to know if it will go under the arches on the car.

Does anyone know if that will work?

anyone?

anyone?

I can't see that being a problem with those size tyres mate, I ran coilovers and the same size wheels and tyres on my MK1 Fabia without any problems, there is a lot more space on a Mk2 Fabia!

yes, but did u have to roll you arches?

I have monte carlo arhes that are a bit smaller then the vRS because of the black lists..but then again im going for et 35 not 32

I think the black bits of the arches are just on top of the arch, not inside it so there should be no less space than in the vRS. At least that's the way it looks from the monte photos, no?

yes the black lists are on the outside (same as the Fabia 1 GT model), and on the Fabia 2 cant roll the arches just like that, but if you need to completely recolor them since the color will burst.

just limited the spring "way?" by 6mm in the back, no scratching no nothing even with 2 ppl in the back @ the MOT/Tüv test.

that look awesome.

How is the comfort of the car? :p

Damn I want to lower my estate now :)

How 18" wheels on a lowered car don't foul anything is beyond me.

I'd be completely paranoid every time I used the car in the fear of wrecking them. You'd have to park in the middle of the road all the time emoticon-0143-smirk.gif

Does look good in a 'show car' kind of way. emoticon-0148-yes.gif
