Welcome to the world of worrying side effects of the PD170 vRS injector recall.

Lots and lots of threads on here, just search for 'injector's', as of today there are already three on the first page alone.

Specifically with regard to your cold starting issue I too suffer from this problem. It's at the dealers as we speak (third visit - 12 days in total now) and they still don't know what the problem is.

Try this thread too...

Mines booked in for 2 weeks time and I'm nearly afraid to get them done now! Even tho the main dealer said they done loads and with no side effects afterwords!

Had mine done a few weeks ago and no probs at all ,when I mentioned some of the faults mentioned on here to dealer before they did the injectors ,his reply was if its done right you will have no problems and up to now and nearly a thousand miles later he was right.so well done Derek Slack, moddlesbrough.

Take it back to the dealer - it is an unfortunate side effect of the injector change.

Some have said it is the cam sensor, others the adjustments afterwards.

If your dealer is not aware of the issue, try a quick call to Skoda UK as others have reported this issue before to them.
