Dent in Passenger Door...

Featured Replies

Well, thanks to some b*llbag holidaymaker out over Easter weekend in their 4x4 beast I now have a dent in my passenger side door. I think it happened when they parked up beside me at the garage, I came out after shopping, and noticed that this jeep thing was parked up very close to my car, so close that my GF couldn't get in her side until I reversed out of the space. It was only when I was washing the car later that I noticed a ding just underneath the rub strip, right in the middle of the door, right where a 4x4 type car's door would catch it if it were parked too close and somebody decided to squuueeezzze out of the door anyway. Its really p****d me off, its ruined the nice clean look of the car because its smack bang in the middle of the door. Am considering purchasing a de- denting kit form halfords, but don't know if they are worth it, anyone any ideas? Its another little thing that is buggin the hell out of me (bumper scratch and front wing scratch being the other two), suppose I didn't expect to be getting scratches and dents on the car so soon into ownership (6mths).

Try Dentmaster or similar. It should be possible to massage a ding like that out.
