Owner is on here - he posted some pictures in general car chat - not quite as much of a hateful response to that thread though!

What does he expect when the wording in the ad is mis-leading!!!......VRS???...what is VRS about it????...the only two parts that look similar to the VRS are the the rear spoiler and the lower add-on for the rear bumper!!

And as for stating it has ESP!!!!......blatant lie!!!........unless he has the skills of Tech1e and fitted a whole new system ........even then I doubt if it could be done as the ESP was for the 1.9TDIVRS engine and NEVER an option for any other MKI Fabia engine!!!

If he had stated......2001plate MKI Fabia, 1.4lt 16v, "Comfort" spec with full OEM Skoda bodykit (different to VRS version and rare), in Lemon yellow...bla...bla...etc .......eg state what it is correctly....then there would be no hate!!!!.....SIMPLES....... B)

P.S. they could be Santa Monica's.....was thinking that as well.....but can't tell 100%......if they are..... either he's sprayed the inserts to match or got rid of them!!!

It's a real VRS no? How do I bid, very cheap!

My VRS rep :)

Spoiler, interior and obviously wheels are wrong. But I personally HATE replica cars, made to look like something they are not. So yours jason is much nicer than any vRS "rep" in my book as it has your own touches on it.

I have to agree, i'm no fan of people making their car look like a different version... Sometimes i wonder to myself that if they spend all that money making it look like the real thing then surely they could have payed for the real thing based on the time and money spent?

On the other hand i don't a 'Sleeper', always good to supprise people ;)

One thing that really bugs me is people in 1.1 litre 106's, 1.2 litre Corsa... with big loud exhausts.

Have to say the ebay posting looks terrible however Jasons does looks good, looks very similar to mine.

Exactly, my brother was showing me a S3 rep the other day, it was spot on, I can normally spot the difference but it really was very good. BUT at what cost? It will have cost more than the real thing to build, cost more to insure (it was still a 2.0t) and everyone laughs at you when you cant keep up with a diesel skoda. Which is why I also prefer the more subtle look.

This yellow one would look totally different if it had an exhaust to fill the gap and the black pain off the front of it. Lower it a little, jobs a good `un, tidy first car.

what Skoda you driving to outrun a 2.0T? there like 200bhp standard so must be running with some power?

Have to say i love the S3's and wouldn't mind one for my next car, seem to for some reason prefer the look on the old 225 model

Do love my Fabia VRS aswell, you just can't beat the performance/economy

Yes your right, if i had the choice i would have a vRS but because i only got this (pd100) at 17 the insurance was a joke and this came up cheap. The Front bumper was £140 and the rear was £50 then i have the vrs mats and some other stuff. I am missing the spoiler and all the interior. Also it hasnt affected my insurance much too :)so this time it hasnt cost me much but i agree, i have seen lots of s3's and r32 replicas that look the spitting image but they must have cost more than and s3?

Anyway thanks for the complements BUT I AM ALSO NOT A FAN OF THE BLUE WHEELS AND THAT IT WHY THEY HAVE GONE! :) haha

If you look at his sig you'll find out that he has a MKI Fabia VRS with a 150hybrid turbo and a unit 18 remap.....so faster than standard!!........ :giggle:

Oh dont get me wrong, a REAL S3 I'd love, just not some replica look a like. As for my car not being quicker than a 2.0T I'm not even going into that discussion :)

Yeah your right, that woulda helped lol.

I'm running 166bhp with 280lbs/ft at the moment but to upgrade further requires FMIC, hybrid, another remap followed by clutch so very would be very costly :/

haha thats what i mean, would love the S3, no fan of replicas on any car...

just looked at your tag, you must be running like 230bhp? or something along the lines?

First car I've seen with a Hitler mustache haha

Gonna seriously struggle to sell any car like that with that kind of description ! Mind you, might be lucky and some young plank who aint gonna afford a proper vrs might come along....

well at least I can say when I was young and impetuous I did buy a naff old state of a silver mk1 1.6 golf gti thinking it was the bees knees and really it was at least half misery - but at least it was the real car! And to be honest, that character of the mk1 golf gti is something I still feel with the fabia mk1 vrs...

You'd stand a better stead stripping all the crap off it suggesting its been "tuned", put it standard and honest and at least lead people to think that it hasnt been raped within an inch of its life whilst pretending to be something it aint.

To put some context, we got £900 private for my 2002 1.4 8v mpi with about 60k on the clock, a few scrapes here and there but always serviced and honest as the day is long.

Good luck with selling that as it is !

As I said in a previous post........That ain't got ESP!!!...Blatent LIE!!!!......Trading standards anyone???????

(ESP was only a factory fit option for the genuine vRS 1.9 diesel and never fitted to that 1.4 petrol engine!!)

TBF he's only selected ESP in the auto check options and not mentioned it in his description

still abit of a sh1tter though
