I recently replaced the centre console trim and after pulling out the cigarette tray and the lighting fitments and refitting both the little light there and the glove-box light don't work, my question is what should be my steps to get them working again all other interior lights work, i checked the glove-box bulb and im pretty sure its an led replacement, it worked before i did the trim anyway, i have a bit of ocd about bulbs so id like to get them all working again oh also just so i can get a new bulb just in case what bulb is it?

Did you take the bulb out? If you did and it's an led then it's been put in the wrong way

no i didnt take the bulb out i couldnt figure out how to get it out, it worked before i took the cigarette comaptment light out and refitted it to my carbon ones then neither the little light in the cigarette ashtrayor the glovebox light worked

That lil bit of info points to a loose connection around where you've been playing. Look again at the ashtry light/wiring

When you take the ashtray housing out of the dash there are wires behind it so you have to be careful when refitting it you don't catch the wires and stretch them. The ashtray light clips onto the bottom of the ashtray housing so it may still be working but just fallen out of the clip

i will check is it connected to the glovebox light?

IIRC the glovebox light has a multiplug connected to it which runs behind the back of the ashtray. Might be worth taking the glovebox out to check if you've pulled the multiplug out
