Want a matte grill - Plasti Dip or paint shop?

Featured Replies

Hi!

I really want to change my grill to a matte black finish, and wondering how to go about it.

I can't really find any aftermarket grill off the shelf, so I guess I'll have to use chemicals ;)

I've seen various attempts on different forums, and it seems that Plasti Dip is a popular method. Has anyone tried this and want to share their experience?

Was thinking the badge less grill cover, plastidipped all the way, crome surrounding and all

Sorry, I was unclear - I meant I want to buy that badgeless cover and then plasti dip the entire grill, grill cover and the crome surround trim. (Are you Norwegian, btw?)

I live almost an hour outside of Oslo, towards Gjøvik. :)

We have a couple of good painters here that I think are pretty decent. At least I have been very satisfied when they have done some work for me. But I really dont know how good they are compared to the " best guys" in Oslo though. Probably a little bit cheaper I guess.

Contact me on PM if you want to know any more. Then we can skip the eenglish aswell ;)
