fitting a pram in a fabia with a dog

Featured Replies

Got to fit a pram, child and dog and other half in my vrs. Any tips on fitting everything in? It's like a puzzle. Dogs a lab and prams a silver cross surf.

You need an Octavia Vrs lol

Octy vrs estate is What I want, just can't afford it at the moment. Might be able fit the pram upright in the boot, then might be able fit the dog between the pram and the boot.

You need an estate or a combi type "thing".

I put the pram in the boot folded up (stokke xplory - so its hardly a small one!) put baby seat behind passenger seat and strap the dog into the seat behind drivers :-) job done

The above sounds spot ont to me! Not sure how much you could split/fold your pram down, but what about a roof box?

Yeah thought of a roof box. Is it legal for a dog go on passenger seat? With correct harness?

Yes it is, you just need a doggy seatbelt

I bought the fabia estate for this reason lol

I use to have a Polo 6n 3dr - same situation, but I had 2 kids (3years old and a newborn) and 2 prams to sort out. I bought a set of roof bars and a 570litre roof box. 2 prams fitted no problem in the roof box, kids in the back, wife in the front & baby sitting 2 collie pups for 3 months. Kids are grown up now, but i still have more than enough space in the fabia!
