Why no Roomser or Yeti van?

Featured Replies

Are Skoda missing out here?

I'll be in the market for a new van within the next 6 months when the warranty expires on my current van, and would more than likely purchase one off Skoda IF they made one, which of course they don't sadly.

It's a big and bouyant market out there, and I'm struggling to undestand their reasoning for not entering the fray.

Their loss, and VW Caddy or Transit Connect probably beckon seemingly.

Apologies for the typo on the thread title. Seemingly cannot edit it.

Roomster obviously.

In this sector? The VW Caddy, and some some random old shed from Seat with a mk1 Panda front tagged on it?

This is the Roomster van, otherwise known as the Praktik

Don't suppose they're importing a RH drive version of it into S.Ireland are they?

They get all the car derived vans over there.

I really don't see how having a van version of one of your cars 'devalues' the brand.

Seems to have worked quite well for Ford, Vauhall, Citroen, Peugeot, and Renault.

Roomster Van would sell well IMO.

They still have a good reputation in the commercial market from the days of the Skoda Felicia pick-up & Cube (you know, the ones that VW blantantly stole and stuck VW badges on! )
