Weighed my 16's prior to refitting them, Shod with winters they came in at 13.7kg ea.

Just taken my Evolo's to be refurbed, So weighed them too, Shod with T1R's they came in at 18.8kg ea.

Quite astounded as to how much heavier the 17's are compared to the 16's

My Superlegs only weigh 7.2kg each (no rubber) so are awesomely light alloys. What does a tyre weigh? Would love to find a second set.

Ah my TD`s are around 7.5kg each, not too bad then!

Mine are 17" and 8J wide too :p I have TD 1.2 too, but they are a bit heavier.

Yikes, I knew the Evolo's were heavy but not that much more than the standard wheels! Best get myself a set of standard wheels again for track days I think....

Right curiousity has got the better of me! I've got a spare Evolo in the shed, Bare rim comes in at 10kg. Damn, Those Toyo's are heavy!
