Just been travelling in the snow and as i got stuck i was revving quite high and all the lights came on the dash and went off and left the engine management light on, any one no what this could be?? car still runs fine thou.

Maybe it's got confused with the revs not translating into forward movement? Try switching off for a while and re-starting and driving normally.

Could be a number of things. If it does not reset after turning off and then back on and going for a drive, you will need to get it scanned for error codes to find out whats happening.

why were you revving high?? if you get stuck, high revs and wheelspinning makes it worse

Do you mean the "Control system for exhaust" light since I can't find reference to an "engine management light" in the manual? Do people use the terms synonymously? Mine came on after Xmas after a long period of low revs driving. It went out the next day. It then came on again last weekend after a spirited cross country drive and went out the next day. In neither case did performance suffer as the manual suggests it should. So it may not have been related to your high-revs experience but just coincidental. Haven't scanned my yet (not having a scanner) so don't know what it might be.
