Only on maxidot.

Damn - oh well will just have to keep looking for a secondhand maxidot cluster. I suspect that I may be able to display it in torq-pro though.

SUK have come back to my dealer and say "my oil temp display non function" is normal with a CR170 TDI the maxidot and gearbox type combination I have! What utter tosh.... So please ignore the blank display as this is normal.

How to loose faith in a supposed Skoda main dealer and SUK to try and

bullsh...t me with utter crap!

Think I had better print out what tech1 posted and give that to the senior dealership technician.

Wish I could bullsh....t my customers like that!

An old thread right enough, however my Tsi is on fixed and I have always had the Oil temp display on my Maxidot and I never asked for it to be activated.

Whoop, whoop...finally got my vRS on to my dealers computer, with me pointing the way and hey presto selected service code OG2 and now on fixed service with an operational oil temperature gauge!!

So SUK do bulls....t and hope you will accept their final say and go away.
