Im looking at getting a good vcds, where would be the best place to buy from? Iv got a gendan hand reader but im very limited to what it can do, iv got a 05 fab vrs so obv wanna read that but i wont have it forever so what would be the ideal solution, il be staying vag for a long time so?

VCDS Lite is a free download from Ross Tech and a cable from Gendan is about £20, this is far better than any hand held scanner.

The full version at £260 is good value for money when you see its capabilities, plus has a high used value if you decide to sell it later.

Ahh so what would a vcds lite enable me to do?
