if i was to fit the k04-022 turbo to my mk1 octavia vrs apart from intercooler and remap is there anything else i will need to get the most from it and what sort of bhp will i be looking at from minimal increase to maximum.

Do you understand that some materials used in china are not able to cope as those would as manufactured by garrett, ihi, honeywell etc

You have to make sure the s3 turbo's orientation is the same as your octy's in terms of angle to exhaust

Well a clutch, smf and recirculation valve are going to cost you almost as much as a turbo and remap.

Trust me...Forget it, the gains are not worth the outlay, especially if you are looking at a cheap Chinese K04 copy, it WILL end in tears, if you are adamant about going this route you will need the following

K04-022/23, Exhaust Manifold, downpipe and cat, adaptor to exhaust 3" to 2.1/2" Fuel Pump, Injectors ( 380CC) TT Airbox, Inlet pipe & MAF, FMIC & custom Remap. You would be better just getting a remap, as you will only achieve at most about 260bhp and 275lbs/ft.........with a good map on a ko3 you will get 230bhp an 260lbs/ft.......the k04 setup will cost you in excess of 3K to do properly even using some second hand parts!.....been there and nearly did that, bought the parts then sold the car and the parts when the grim reality dawned
