VGA to RCA

Featured Replies

Help! I have an Acer Aspire one with a VGA output. I have a screen with an RCA input, I bought a VGA to RCA adaptor (VGA to a video out (yellow cable) but the netbook nor the screen see each other. If I hook up vga to vga on another screen it works instantly and shows a new desktop (using ubuntu)

Am I missing something or is it just not meant to be? I got the lead from Amazon so figured it probably isn't the lead!

Thanks in advance,

You probably have to change the source on the screen from VGA to AV.

These cables hardly ever work, we've tried many types at work...

Having now read about it, it seems my netbook dosent have the correct type of VGA connection to allow this to work. Doh!
