Fabia D2S Hid kits group buy for xenon headlights

Featured Replies

Should be dead easy to fit. Had a H7 kit (Helligkeit) for all of 2 days! I could see the beam was totally skewed / all over the shop, so removed them for my personal safety (well, actually, it was other road users personal safety...) I remember it taking all of 5 minutes to swap from H7 to the HID kit.

As devonutopia said it's a piece of cake! The connections just clip into each other and you can't connect them wrong which is always good!

Yep 3 people left and we can get going :)

I will most likely have a set of H3's and possily a set of H7's too

unfortunately have the car in for a gearbox refurb so will not know until next week how much that is going to hurt

will add myself in as soon as I can say for certain.

Thanks

I'm not 100% sure, I'm away for the weekend but can have a search when I get home if you haven't found out?

I wonder if 55w H7 main beam would work well....

I don't see why not, I can get them if you want?

Sounds like a good idea or keep them as spares?

How much would 50/55w H7 4300k?

Can you do 50 or 55W D2S HID's Phil? or just 35's?

Joe

I believe 35W is the only ones, probably because 55w aren't approved for these lights. It does say this in post 16 :p

How much for a pair of 4300k d2s bulbs only?

Thanks

How much for a pair of 4300k d2s bulbs only?

I sure hope the list gets to 10 soon as my headlights will be arriving soon! :D

That would be £50 in the group buy with 10 people, basically an extra £5.

Unfortunately not only 35w at the moment.

well I just had good news on my gearbox refurbishment (never thought a £425 bill could considered good news! :o )

put me down for a set of H3's 4300k - slim ballast and someone else asked if you can do H7R (the ones with the blanking strips for reflector headlights) if you can then I will have a set of H7R as well

dont suppose you can get H4 bi-xenon? might be interested in another set if you can :giggle:

thanks

Well, that would take us to 10 if opentoideas bought 3 sets :D:rock:

How quickly will these arrive?

I've had one of my cheap D2S bulbs decide that it will only ignite 1/3 of the time.

Not the ballast either as I've swapped them round.

Hopefully PDQ once we have 10 numbers.

:D true but I am being an awkward sod... none of the ones I want were what Phil.B offered at the start and he has only confirmed the H3's

it all depends on whether his supplier does them which not all do

I think 2-3 weeks was mentioned at the start but not 100%

In that case I won't bother as I need one now :(

Well, if it goes on too much longer without reaching 10 I'm going to have to commit @ £50 a.s.a.p and then hope to recoup a fiver should the GB end up going over the 10 required.

Sorry, but I've also been forced to look elsewhere and have ordered a kit from a local supplier just a few miles up the road. Couldn't grumble at the price either....

just had another look and it was only 1-2 weeks but I am surprised more have not taken up this offer.

would rather buy from a Briskodian but the numbers just dont seem to be there :'(

shame really

I can get all of those kits :) the single beams would be £45 to and the bi xenon would be £50.

It does sound like they are on their way out. Once ordered they will be at your door in max 2 weeks!
