Bugger. I have broken the Basicphone. Evidently they're not as bomb proof as they used to be. What can I expect for £15 though?

Keys and phone in pocket + wrestling with baby son = cracked plastic screen. :(

No, I still don't have insurance godammit!!!

Well I lasted just over a month with the little Nokia. Frustration with the slowness of the transitions has got to me. It took aaages to open texts then a few menus to navigate through to reply. It's funny how you take conversational texting for granted!

So I spotted that O2 were hawking recon Samsung Galaxy Aces for £109. The intention is to keep this phone til iphone5 cones out. It arrived today and I can't believe how good it is for the money. It does everything an iPhone 3GS does for a fraction of the cost. I'm sure the screen is sharper as well. if you need a budget smartphone, can't recommend it enough.

Swmbo's a nanny and the lil boy she looks after decided to see if her Nokia n8 could float lol. That's off getting sorted by the insurance so she borrowed my old Nokia n72. She managed to break the screen last week after throwing it onto the couch and missing! Was thinking that it would be it for the phone I've had since 2007 but I had a look on ebay and found that new screens are under a fiver! Took me 10 mins to change it and its like new again! Cost me 70 quid when I broke it after having it for a week!

I was looking at one of these for my wife but in the end plumped for a Desire S for an extra 40quid. Ace was DEfinitely preferable to the Wildfires though.
