Despite lots of talk on here about mods, bhp, how cars compare and all the other stuff I'm quite surprised that we get an event like "Briskoda How Fast" set up and so few people have the confidence to show up and see how their cars go!

I agree......defo fisherman's "the one that got away" type of talk.......

If I was closer and not bogged down in work I would DEFO go......just for the craic......and to act as moving road block for all the much more powerfull/faster cars.......

P.S. just joking......as I would DEFO move aside as per track rules.........you know what i mean tho'....

Wouldn't we all but prepping a Fabia to the minimum safety level aloe is £2000+

then you need a national B race license £300

suitable protective clothing/helmet - £400?

entry fees - £300 a race

then consumables and fuel

I reckon say goodbye to 10 grand for your first season

This is a happy medium between non-competive trackdays, timed sprints/hill climbs and a full on race

That said mabye a Briskoda Karting event might be cool

Nice outdoor karting track up here in Wigan

They can sort you a race license too

What happens if xaosx decides to drive again with no brakes.... T bones your pride and joy then turns out he doesnt have track day insurance
