hi , i have ordered a " maxi dot " as an extra for my new car , i am having probs with my insurance provider , they say they have to check the implications with the under-writers with regards to this factory option , any one-else had this problem ?

Always declare everything. Never assume factory upgrades dont have to be declared, as it may just be the get out they need not to pay out.
