High Mileage and Mapping ?

Featured Replies

Hello All ,

Just looking for views and a bit of advice .

Ive got a '55 plate Mk1 VRS . Its done 143,000 . Well looked after , run on decent long life oil and has lived most of its life on the motorway . Car drives faultlessly and perfectly .

Just wondering on whether getting the car mapped would be a good idea ? Whether its likely to break anything etc ?

Thanks Jamie

Should be fine, mine is on 118k and has been remapped all ok.

I put a post on the other day about a remap with my car just going over 100k, the replys I got have convinced me to do it, if its been well looked after then why not!!!

I got mine re mapped at 140k nearly a year ago and now nearly on 150k and had no problems
